ESPY Awards 2022: Katie Ledecky Wins Best Female Athlete Award
American swimmer Katie Ledecky won the Best Athlete, Women’s Sports award at the 2022 ESPYs event held at the Dolby Theatre on Wednesday (July 20) in Hollywood, California.
The 25-year-old Olympic gold medalist looked fabulous in a sparkling silver mini dress with matching clutch, sandals and jewels on the red carpet.

So far, Ledecky has won six Olympic individual gold medals and 14 world championship individual gold medals, the most in history for a female swimmer.
The Excellence In Sports Performance Yearly Award (ESPY Awards), have been held since 1993 to honor the leading athletes and great sport achievements of that year.
The 30th annual ceremony of the ESPY Award was hosted by American basketball player Stephen Curry, who plays as point guard for the NBA team Golden State Warriors.
