Emma Raducanu Wins US Open 2021 for Maiden Grand Slam
Emma Raducanu, 18, defeated Canadian tennis player Leylah Fernandez, 19, in the US Open 2021 Final, which took place at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.
Emma won the US Open without losing a set and she became the first woman to do so since Serena Williams in 2014.
By winning the tournament, she became the first female British player to win a Grand Slam title in 44 years and the youngest British star to win the singles title.
She is also the first ever qualifier to reach the women’s singles Grand Slam final.
